Kevin Bennett

Proficient in the use of Final Cut Pro, Compressor, DVD Studio Pro, and Adobe Photoshop.  Some experience in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Apple's Motion, Cinema Tools, Color, and Redcine-X.  Strong knowledge in transcoding, broadcast standards for HD, NTSC and PAL, web standard compressions, and managing media from DV tapes to RED.  Basic knowledge in audio engineering, PHP, HTML, and CSS. 

Responsibilities include managing, logging, and cutting of footage until a final cut is reached then delivering the final product in the required specifications.  Due to the pace of this exciting time at Mondial, I found myself working directly with high profile clients, handling projects from start to finish, and kicking ass during ping pong and Xbox breaks.  Seriously, I leaped at the opportunities to get involved in working as DIT on production shoots, strapping a RED Epic to a truck and chase a Ducati through a city, and learn how to composite on the fly when deadlines were cut short.  

Projects Include: Geico YouTube campaign, "The Geico Variety Show", Webisodes and TV spots for BFGoodrich with Shaun White, "Shaun Wants To Drive", TV spots and behind the scenes web content for FreeCreditScore.com, Hanes Facebook campaign, "Comfort", Pizza Hut, "Go Big", American Cancer Society, "More Birthdays", Ki:Theory, "Son Of Flynn (Tron Remix)" , Kina Grannis, "Without Me", Altria short film, "Where There's Smoke", Classified Moto, "The Classified Moto Lamp", and more. 

Worked on television spots for Hanes T-Shirt and Walmart, composited videos for Geico’s YouTube viral marketing campaign, and designed a website for a feature length film titled, “Reciprocity”.  Developed an excellent ability in making Starbucks and lunch runs. 

Multimedia Consultant, Chick-Fil-A, Richmond, VA 2006-2008 

Responsible for filming and editing the Chick-Fil-A Annual Charity Dodge-Ball Tournament.  Directed and worked along side a small creative team to produce promotional materials for following tournaments.   

Summer internship working as a part of a team who are responsible for Quality Assurance on multiple web sites including: Sesamestreet.org, mosh.nokia.com, www.vogue.tv, and schematic.com.  Tested for bugs and logged any found on a tracking system called Mantis.    

Worked as Quality Assurance for an Ipad/iPhone app developing company.  Responsible for testing apps for bugs and logged any found.  Apps include: CoolHunting, VegOut, and HowAboutWe. 

Responsible for editing and designing motion graphics for promotional materials.  

Responsible for designing, maintaining, and developing a fully functional web site using multiple languages  including: PHP, HTML, CSS as well as building a database using MySQL, for a Chicago based company. Also  responsible for designing labels for various products.

Responsible for redesigning and updating content on the previous web site using HTML and CSS.
